Cherokee Trail Artifacts

ARTIFACTS FOUND SOUTHEAST OF GOESSEL - 924 N Chisholm Trail, Newton - On display at the Mennonite Heritage and Agriculture Museum, 200 N Poplar, Goessel. These artifacts were found near the Cherokee Trail and Sand Creek Crossing. This collection of artifacts is thought to be part of a trail dump where travelers disposed of unwanted items that bogged down their wagons.
